“I was blown away by my first visit with Dr. Comeau! Friendly staff! A calming lounge with a fireplace to wait instead of a crowded waiting room and a physical barrier to separate you from the staff. Thanks for being the first psychiatrist I've had who LISTENS first and doesn't just pump more meds blindly. He put me at ease from his first words! “I have had a few visits to the Hill location and I cannot believe the difference in how I feel and can move, my posture feels a lot better as well. I have had a hard time climbing and descending flights of stairs for the last four years, thanks to Dr. Claypool I can now run up and downstairs without any pain or feeling that my knees will give out on me. I took a hard fall at another business location the other day slipping on an ice patch, I called the office and they took me in right away to help alleviate some of the swelling and pain. Well Dr Claypool didn’t disappoint and I’m feeling better! Tomorrow will be my next visit and I hope to get one more in before I head back home to Ontario, however when I return to the Hat I would definitely 💯 visit this location again. “This review is specific to the massage section of this business. I had a few exceptional massages from one of the therapists, but a recent experience exposed that they prioritize policies and money over people. The morning of my last appointment, I woke at 5 AM with excruciating, unbearable tooth and head pain. My dentist saw me right away that morning and said I needed an emergency root canal, and they could squeeze me in that afternoon but unfortunately at a time that conflicted with my massage appointment. I called the Kinetic Centre before 9 AM to explain and cancel, and was told they would mark me as a no-show and try to fill the appointment but I still had to pay for it. The receptionist at first implied it would probably be easy to fill the spot because they had a waitlist of 16 people or more and this was 5.5 hours before the appointment. When I asked if I wouldn't have to pay for it if she filled the spot, she said no and that it might not be that easy to fill after all. I was told I should have canceled 24 hours before, which I would have if I had foreseen my dental issue. That's the nature of an emergency; you don't get warning. So I said since I'm still paying, I will keep the appointment and try to find someone else to take it. She was quite insistent that I let her know if I managed to find someone to take it vs. just paying for it and no one showing up. She was waiting to try filling it from their list. Make of that what you will. My conversations with the receptionist made an already horrible, stressful day even worse. Of course I would rather be getting a massage than at the dentist for emergency pain management! And I'm sure some people cancel, claiming an emergency that isn't actually one. I was willing to provide a note from the dentist if necessary. There also seemed to be no empathy or compassion from the therapist with whom she was communicating; I never got to talk to her. I get it. I'm in the service industry too and when we're not working we're not making money, but I use discretion when this happens to me. Sometimes emergencies happen and I'm not going to charge for something that's out of a person's control. I'm disappointed that consideration wasn't extended to me and I won't be back.”Read moreShow less

“I did not have a good experience at this clinic. I'm not one to really say no to people, especially if they are supposed to know better or are in a position of experience. I had lower back pain at the end of April and booked a chiropractic appointment. I went in and started filling out paperwork for acupuncture, massage, cupping, etc, etc. I asked why all these were necessary and was reassured that I would be seen for chiropractic treatment then, and the others may be used in future appointments. So I signed away thinking my issue would be resolved. It was a bad experience. There's was minimal actual chiropracty done to me. I may have consented in the moment to other treatments, but I felt pressured to do so as they 'knew better'. Well, it's been a week and I'm still in pain in the exact area I originally complained about. Their "homework" did nothing but agitate the area.
