“Frustrated. Purchased a facial on Groupon, booked the appt 2 weeks in advance clearly mentioning i bought it on Groupon. Only to get a call less than 2 hrs before the appointment saying “we stopped accepting groupons April 1st” and recommended I come and pay double for their signature facial. It’s a beautiful Friday afternoon and this completely messed up my afternoon. As a good business operator, I would honour the Groupon as a mistake on my end. “I’ve had many massage therapy sessions before, and most of them felt very generic, some better than others, but always within the usual expectations. Because I couldn’t find many available appointment times, I found Sandra Figueroa Wellness Center on Google, and Sandra was very attentive and managed to fit me into a time that worked for me. The most important point is that I had never received a massage like hers before. She was simply able to relieve the pain in every tension point I had. “I arrived for my booked massage on time but the door was not opened for the 15 minutes I waited there after knocking several times EDIT after response from owner. I arrived on time for my appointment not early and waited 15 minutes after my appointment was meant to begin. It's very disappointing that you cannot take accountability of your mistakes and instead seem to blame the client in each of your bad reviews that often highlight the same experience of you not bothering to show up to appointments. An apology would get you further than dishonesty. Wilfully wasting people's time, not showing up for booked appointments, then lying when they complain is an embarrassing way to run a business.”Read moreShow less

“Honestly this place is awful. I booked on Groupon and was treated like because I only had a Groupon I was garbage. She told.me to book.a real appointment next time. She was not interested in focusing on where I had pain or helping with anything. The hot stones were way too hot and she pretty much put them on my body and left me alone. “I visited Manipura Massage Centre for the second time today and had a 75-minute session with Sandra. My first visit was only 30 minutes, but this longer session was amazing — my body stiffness is completely gone, and I was so relaxed that I actually fell asleep during the massage.
