Zara is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who holds a Master of Science in Psychotherapy (BA, MA, MSc). As a lifelong learner, she is committed to ongoing growth, both personally and professionally. Zara has experience providing psychotherapy to a diverse population of clients and is passionate about creating meaningful connections rooted in trust and authenticity. Zara believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to feel like their best self. She strives to offer a space where clients can be vulnerable, feel heard, and explore their experiences in a supportive and pressure-free environment. Her clinical work has reinforced that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all experience, and she is dedicated to helping clients feel seen and supported for who they are. Her approach is trauma-informed, with a focus on safety, trust, and empowerment. Zara recognizes how past and present experiences shape overall well-being and she works collaboratively with clients while honouring their pace, needs, and readiness for change. She has a particular interest in supporting individuals navigating challenging emotions, trauma, maternal and perinatal mental health concerns, life transitions, grief and loss, relationship challenges, and burnout. Zara views therapy as an opportunity to foster connection, growth, and empowerment that can extend into all areas of life. She feels grateful to walk alongside clients as they explore their stories. Outside of the therapy space, Zara enjoys getting sweaty in the gym, cooking, exploring new restaurants and cafés, and spending time in the sun!
