Dr. Yuki Gomi is a chiropractor who values evidence-based care and providing his patients with personalized, comprehensive treatments. He completed his Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia and went on to obtain his Doctor of Chiropractic from the University of Western States in Portland, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
Before starting his chiropractic training, Dr. Yuki worked as a certified personal trainer for a few years. During this time, he worked with clients from a wide range of ages and mobility levels, helping them optimize their strength, movement and specialized sport training. Dr. Yuki understands the importance of cultivating functional movement patterns and is committed to helping patients recover effectively, prevent future injuries, and return to the activities that matter most to them.
He provides a diverse range of treatment modalities including spinal manipulation therapy, soft tissue treatments (trigger point therapy, instrument assisted, cupping) as well as individualized corrective and strengthening exercises.
Dr. Yuki has a particular clinical focus on:
- Neck and lower back conditions (New and old long injuries)
- Referral and nerve pain
- Motor vehicle accident (MVA) injury claims
- Sports and exercise injuries
He can speak English and conversational Japanese. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys spending his time at the gym, cooking delicious meals and going out for a round of golf.
