About Teena

I am a psychotherapist in training who supports women and adolescents navigating identity, life transitions, and the emotional weight of relationships and caregiving. I also have a particular interest in supporting members of the 2SLGBTQI+ community. My years of lived experience include career changes, fertility challenges and grief, coming out later in life, and co-creating a family arrangement that reflects unique needs. These experiences broaden my understanding of the layered challenges clients face and inform the encouraging, compassionate way I help them pursue meaningful change. My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing from humanistic, psychodynamic, ACT, and emotion-focused perspectives. I pay close attention to how early relationships and past experiences shape present patterns, while also helping clients build the insight, grounding, and direction needed to move forward. I offer a warm, curious, and down-to-earth presence so you feel understood, supported, and gently guided as you explore the experiences and questions that feel most significant to you.
