“I found Aline while searching for a therapist who could help me navigate the challenges, anxieties, and uncertainties surrounding becoming a first time mother. I was desperate and lost. Aline responded and met with me almost immediately. After our introduction, I knew that she would be the perfect fit. She was compassionate and understanding, while also being so genuinely reassuring. I find myself to be relatively self-aware, but Aline has helped me learn so much more about myself. She has offered practical and relevant insight while maintaining a gentle demeanor. What I appreciate most about her is that she offers recollections of real experiences and comparisons and it has helped me feel less alone. Though I usually speak with Aline virtually, I have been to the Centre itself. It is clean and welcoming. Her office is relaxing and you instantly feel at ease. She even has a bowl of fidget toys to use during sessions - I noticed some really good ones in there! I trust that her team is likely just as capable and kind as she is, and I know that anyone who is lucky enough to be supported by the Maia Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre is certainly on a path of better well-being. Aline is an angel and I am so lucky to have her as my therapist.”
