About Steven

Steven graduated from York University with a Specialized Honors Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and a Certificate in Athletic Therapy. His passion for sports and fitness led him to choose a career in Athletic Therapy, where he excels in helping athletes overcome injuries both during play and through rehabilitation in the clinic. Steven has been exposed to a wide variety of injuries working with athletes at both the Youth and University level and has focused his time in recent years working with the Men’s football team at York University. He understands the physical, mental, and emotional demands that athletes experience, and uses that to help guide his treatments for each patient along their journey. Steven utilizes a combination of techniques, including manual therapy approaches, stretching, and strength and conditioning exercises, to improve injury symptoms and optimize movement for the patient’s safe return back to their sport or day-to-day activities. In his free time, Steven enjoys watching sports, lifting, and cooking healthy delicious meals.
