About Sonya
Sonya is a Registered Clinical Counsellor whose work is rooted in care and compassion for each person’s unique story. Offering child, teen & adult counselling, at the heart of Sonya’s work is a focus on helping clients to find ways to use their personal strengths to cope more effectively and build resilience that will help them to thrive in the midst of life’s challenges.
Sonya is particularly passionate about collaborating for child, teen & parent counselling to create more peace and success in their school journey, drawing on her background in school counselling, learning support, inclusive education and case management.
Sonya is honoured to support clients in times of grief and loss and in working through traumatic events. Sonya also has a deep heart for supporting clients with neurodiversity in navigating through challenges and finding ways to thrive.
Sonya finds it a deep privilege to walk alongside clients in their journey. With her warm, encouraging approach, Sonya ensures that clients feel safe, seen and supported as they work toward greater emotional well-being and self-understanding.
