Sonja is a Registered Physiotherapist who brings both clinical expertise and real-world athletic
experience to her practice. Born and raised in Calgary, she grew up exploring the mountains
and competing in sports such as ski racing, volleyball, and field hockey – experiences that
continue to shape her active, movement-focused approach to care.
She completed her Master of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia and holds a
Bachelor of Science (Honours) with a Specialization in Kinesiology from Queen’s University.
Sonja has experience working with a wide range of clients, from post-operative patients
recovering from surgeries (ACL, Achilles, etc.) to athletes and active weekend warriors. Sonja is
passionate about helping people build confidence in how they move – whether that’s returning
to sport, managing daily demands, or simply feeling stronger and more capable in their bodies
post-injury.
Outside of the clinic, you’ll find her skiing, mountain biking, running, hiking, surfing, or trying
out workout classes around the city. She values meaningful time with friends and family and is
always up for a good mountain adventure.
