“Staff is nice enough but not especially empathic to peeps who are low income. I can't really afford anything beyond the service AHS covers and this will affect my healing, which I understand is not the clinic's fault or problem. That being said, when I basically shut down in my appointment yesterday because I knew I couldn't afford the brace/physio/chiro/etc., it would have really helped to at least hear some understanding of how hard it is to be told about the "gold standard of care" when you can't actually access it and know your chances of full recovery are lowered because of that lack of access.”Read moreShow less

“My son saw Dr. Ahmed - he was phenomenal! He was very thorough, never made us feel rushed and talked directly to my son, even complimenting him. I felt relieved leaving the office with a game plan. Wonderful physician, highly recommend.”

“What a disappointing experience. We arrived early as instructed, but then waited an additional half an hour after our scheduled appointment before saying anything to reception. We were told the appointment was going to take 45. We were told the doctor was working with another patient. Someone else came in, rushed through some questions and said they would get the doctor.the whole appointment was crammed into 17 minutes. Did I feel that were being listened to? No. Most importantly, did I feel valued? No. Not my time. Not our health concerns. Clearly, there are patients who are more valued than others.”Read moreShow less

“What a pleasant experience to seek medical treatment at I. S. Medicine over the past few years. The front end staff are always cheerful and so willing to accommodate my requests. Dr Moore too deserves special recognition for his superior medical skill and openess to treat my various sports injuries, with ease and calmness. He is so open to referring me to other specialists for further assessment or treatment, when required. I appreciate the thoroughness. Further, what a patient physician to listen to my concerns without feeling the need to rush me the door. His occasional humorous ways are such a relief for an anxious patient. “I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Robinson and his entire team at Innovative Sport Medicine. After seeing multiple sports medicine doctors in Calgary and feeling dismissed or stuck in a “pain management” loop, Dr. Robinson was the first to truly listen with empathy and understand that my case wasn’t typical. He took the time to understand not just my injury, but my goal, which was to get back to CrossFit and weightlifting and not just exist with less pain. His approach completely changed my trajectory. The PRP injection he recommended and performed was life-changing, and thanks to his care and persistence, I went from about 65% functionality to over 95%. That’s something I honestly didn’t think was possible. I also want to highlight how incredible his team is. The front desk receptionist is always kind, organized, and welcoming, which makes a huge difference when you’re in chronic pain. Mark Novak, an athletic therapist at Innovative, also played a key role in my recovery process with his expertise and support. It’s unfortunate to see some negative reviews here that don’t reflect the level of care provided. Delays or scheduling challenges can happen, especially at a clinic where the physicians are in high demand because they are genuinely excellent at what they do. The team at Innovative works hard to accommodate everyone, from recreational athletes to some of the most competitive athletes in the city. If you’re not able to get in immediately, be patient. It’s absolutely worth the wait. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Robinson and his team for giving me my quality of life back. I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could.”Read moreShow less

“It can be difficult to find an amazing physiotherapist. I had seen 4 or 5 different ones before I found Shari MacDonald. I’ve been seeing Shari for over 10 years for various work and running related injuries. She listens, and always takes the time to explain the injury and rehab options. Shari is hands on, and never rushes my appointments. She is the reason I’ve been able to return to my sports over the years. The front counter staff are all lovely.
