Sherice Annis MSW, RSW I’m an EMDR-trained therapist with over 15 years of experience supporting children, teens, adults, couples, and families in settings including hospitals, schools, law firms, and long-term care facilities. If you or your child are struggling with ADHD, anxiety, depression, or the stresses of daily life, I’m here to help. These challenges can impact relationships, work, and mental health—but with the right support, meaningful change is possible. I’m an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider with additional training in psychopharmacology. My approach is practical, person-centered, and tailored to each individual’s needs. I integrate EMDR to help clients process trauma and reduce present-day triggers through bilateral stimulation techniques. I’m also certified in polyvagal theory, which supports nervous system regulation by strengthening the mind-body connection and reshaping thought patterns. My background includes working at SickKids Hospital in a harm-reduction-based substance use program, and at the Toronto District School Board with children facing developmental and behavioral challenges, including Autism, ODD, and intellectual disabilities. I’m passionate about supporting the LGBTQ+ community and love working with children, teens, and couples. I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to guide clients toward healing and long-term resilience. Outside of work, I enjoy yoga and spending time with my 6-year-old son.
