About Shauna
Shauna is a pediatric and pelvic health physiotherapist passionate about supporting clients across the lifespan. She began her academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience before completing her Master of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia.
Shauna supports clients of all ages, stages and gender presentations. In her virtual practice here at Northwood, Shauna focuses primarily on pediatric, male (AMAB), and trans care. Her approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and focuses on helping each individual feel safe, empowered, and confident in their body. Shauna integrates relaxation, breath, and movement strategies with strength training to create care plans that fit real life.
Shauna provides virtual sessions to allow those in more remote areas or those who would prefer care from the comfort of their home so that everyone has access to building strong foundations for health and function.
