About Rohit
Rohit obtained his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from D’Youville College in New York after completing a Bachelor of Science degree with Specialized Honours in Kinesiology and Health Sciences from York University. His passion for health and injuries began after experiencing a string of injuries playing basketball, which lead him to see both the good and bad of our health care system. At this point, Rohit decided he would devote his life to helping patients achieve their goals.
Rohit began his career working as a strength and conditioning coach and personal trainer. He used exercise to help athletes and clients lose weight, get stronger, and move better. This approach to physical training being the foundation of health continues in his practice today as all his patients leave stronger than they came!
Truly a forever learner, he spent more than a decade taking continuing education courses and certifications to stay up to date with the most modern approaches for his patients. He is certified with the Functional Range Systems as a manual therapist and mobility specialist. This system is currently used by professional organizations such as Chicago Cubs, Portland Trailblazers, Houston Rockets, and many more.
Treatment with Rohit is a one-stop-shop. He can provide acupuncture, dry needling, spinal manipulation, cupping, soft tissue release, and exercise-based therapy, all in a single session. It is this ability that has allowed his patients to recover faster and stay injury free. He has 15 plus years treating numerous professional athletes from basketball, soccer, hockey, and more. In his free time, Rohit loves playing basketball, working out, and marathon training.
