About Ramneet

My name is Ramneet Seera, and I am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a specialization in Criminology from MacEwan University in Edmonton. My frontline experience has given me the opportunity to walk alongside individuals as they navigate a wide range of challenges, including domestic violence, trauma, grief and significant life transitions. These experiences have reinforced my belief in the power of human connection, healing and growth, during life’s most difficult moments. As someone with a diverse cultural background, I understand the importance of providing culturally responsive, inclusive, and trauma-informed care. I recognize that each person's autonomy and experiences are shaped by their lived experiences, and I am committed to creating a safe space where you feel seen and heard. I approach each therapeutic relationship with cultural humility as my goal is to foster a trusting relationship where we can work together to support healing and meaningful growth. My approach to counselling is collaborative, compassionate, and trauma-informed. I believe that meaningful change is fostered through a therapeutic relationship where you feel safe, heard, and empowered to explore your experiences at your own pace as you are an expert in your own life. It is a true privilege to hold space for each of my clients as they invite me into their stories with courage and authenticity. Together, we navigate life's challenges, celebrate moments of growth, and create meaningful goals that foster healing, resilience, and lasting transformation.
