About Rachel
Hi, I’m Rachel (I also go by Sin Man, if you'd prefer that). I’m a therapist who believes in creating a calm, supportive space where you can slow down, talk things through, and feel genuinely heard with warmth. My work is primarily grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), while also integrating complementary elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Together, these approaches help us explore how thoughts, emotions, and behaviours connect, and support you in moving toward what truly matters with greater flexibility and self-compassion.
Having lived across cultures, I understand how change and transition can shape the way we see ourselves and express our emotions. This experience helps me bring openness and sensitivity to every session, creating a space where you can feel understood and accepted.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, adjustment challenges, or simply unsure about the next step in life. Some come to therapy to find calm, others to understand themselves better or make changes that feel hard to do alone. My role is to walk beside you, to listen, ask gentle questions, and offer tools that make things feel clearer and more manageable.
Outside of work, I’m someone who enjoys quiet, creative moments, designing digital planners, writing, and making small animations as a form of self-care. I love cozy evenings with my family, hot tea on cold days, and time spent reading or reflecting.
I offer sessions in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin to help clients feel supported in the language that feels most natural to them.
