About Rachel

Rachel is a physiotherapist who obtained her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. She believes in the transformative power of movement and exercise, recognizing its ability to enhance both physical and mental well-being. Rachel is passionate about developing individualized treatment plans that address each client’s unique needs and empowering them to actively engage in their health journey. Through the promotion of balanced, functional movement, her ultimate goal is to help clients achieve healthy, fulfilling lives. Rachel also has an Honours Bachelor of Life Sciences degree with a specialization in Sensory Motor Systems, where she studied the interaction between the human neural and motor systems, and how our sensory systems change with the influence of disease and exercise. Her clinical experience spans working as part of an interdisciplinary team in both long-term care and hospital settings during the COVID-19 pandemic, which reinforced her belief in the value of a collaborative, client-centered approach to care. Outside of the clinic, Rachel likes to stay active outdoors. She especially enjoys running, canoeing, snowboarding, and hiking.
