About Penney
I work with people who have a lot on their plates, doing their best to keep all the balls in the air. People who are juggling careers, relationships, responsibilities, expectations, and the constant pressure to keep everything moving. People who spend so much time taking care of life’s responsibilities that they sometimes forget to take care of themselves.
From the outside, they often look like they’ve got it all together.
They’re the people everyone assumes are okay because they’ve become very good at keeping everything moving, even when they’re running on empty.
But behind the smiles, the accomplishments, and the “I’m fine,” they’re carrying more than most people realize. Stress has become their normal. Their mind rarely slows down. They spend so much time meeting responsibilities and looking after everyone else that they’ve forgotten what it feels like to truly take care of themselves.
Sometimes they’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or burned out. Sometimes nothing is terribly wrong. They simply know life could feel better than it does.
That’s where I come in.
For me, counselling isn’t only about helping people through life’s hardest moments. I believe it’s also about helping people live well.
Together, we’ll make sense of what’s keeping you stuck, quiet the mental noise, work through challenges, solve problems together, celebrate what’s going well, and create practical strategies that help you feel calmer, clearer, and more like yourself again. We’ll create space for the conversations that are often too important to have anywhere else.
Because there really is a meaningful difference between just getting through life…and living well.
