About Nick

Nick was born and raised in Hamilton. Growing up as a hockey player in the area, he became passionate about rehab and performance early in his career, looking to stay healthy and gain a competitive advantage over the competition. Junior hockey took him all over Ontario and Canada including spending a year on the east coast in which he was able to travel through most of the big cities in the Maritimes and Quebec. Since dreams of being a professional athlete ended, he came back home to complete his schooling. Nick now enjoys staying active throughout the year with strength training, golfing and snowboarding. He completed his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. Before this, he completed his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at Brock University where he also spent time in the sport performance centre working with the women’s varsity basketball and volleyball athletes in strength and conditioning. For the past 5 years throughout school, Nick has worked at a local Hamilton gym with everyone from professional hockey players and collegiate athletes of various sports to those just looking to stay active and achieve performance goals of their own. Now with his physiotherapy degree Nick believes exercise and education are integral to a successful rehab and uses manual therapy and soft tissue techniques to supplement his approach when appropriate.
