Worked with Don to help me treat and recover a right elbow "climbers/golfers elbow" injury and aggravation. After a quick initial screening to confirm my worries, we worked together for a handful of sessions to strengthen my wrists and tendons. Very knowledgeable person to go to for all things climbing, and has the tools to back it up too! Thanks Movement Team!

Dalton was extremely knowledgeable on how to treat my 11 year old after his soccer ankle injury/break and reassured me that he would achieve a full recovery. I would highly recommend working with Dalton. The Movement was an excellent facility and the app that they use for tracking daily exercises, along with communication with the physiotherapist in app was excellent and a great tool. The investment in proper recovery to ensure a life long ability to be physically active and continue to play sports was worth every penny. Thank you, Dalton, for your attentive care, knowledge and excellent sessions with my son.

I couldn’t be happier with my experience at the Movement. The staff are so knowledge and really focused at ensuing you can continue with the sport you love while working through rehab. For myself - Eli was amazing at helping with my shoulder. He explained my injury and the purpose of the rehab exercises in a way that made complete sense and was highly motivating. So much so that I feel like I’m back to 100%! Thank-you Eli! For my daughter who is a youth athlete and has experienced multiple ankle injuries. The fact that the staff are also athletes enabled them to understand the nuances of climbing and how to best help her to recover. Both Jess and Don were also very good at motivating a teenager to stick with the exercises! She has fully recovered - thank-you so much!

I hurt my knee a year ago and, while I've lifted weights successfully for years, I needed some support and structure to help rebuild myself and my confidence. Dalton and The Movement helped me do that through experimentation, trackable workouts using their app, and lots of encouragement. I feel like half of Dalton's job was to help me psychologically overcome my doubts that I could rally from an injury that had me second guessing everything, and I'm grateful to him and The Movement. They listened closely to my concerns, helped me decide on goals, and then prescribed the work to get me there.

An AMAZING journey so far in my ACL recovery. From the moment I made the call and chatted with Lauren, it felt personal, warm and welcoming. She took down details related to my multiple knee injuries and surgical repair in 2017 and felt my frustration of not being able to do daily activities (which include spontaneous dance parties!). She made the BEST decision in pairing me up with Will, who I have been with for the past 5 months. And of course, the day before my first appointment, I injured my knee again. From DAY ONE, Will has been a constant motivation. He made my program adaptable, personal, and challenging. He spends each appointment really focusing on how far I can push myself in strength, but also incorporating great knowledge about moving with my MIND and also with my body. I have built strength (and confidence!) in my body that I did not know I could achieve, and I could not have done that without his encouragement and attention to my goals. I look forward to each appointment and enjoy the True Coach app to hold me accountable to each exercise. I highly recommend Movement Physio and their whole team!

I came to The Movement with a couple of injuries I tried to ‘run’ through. I was banged up with achillies tendonopathy and a lower abdominal strain that would not go away. I had big plans for 2026 and finally had enough. I met Don at a local trail event and we connected immediately. I knew he understood me, as an ultra runner and had got to know me as a person. I knew I had come to the right place after trying many other physio clinics. Lauren was amazing on the intake, taking the time to ask questions and understand my needs He took the time to comprehend my injuries, he just ‘got’ me. We came up with a plan that allowed me to keep training, and providing a recovery plan for me. He provided me a personalized recovery plan and provides the tools to keep me accountable. I have been able to come back better and stronger for 2026 thanks to Don and the team at The Movement. If you’re an athlete looking to get back to whatever is you’re doing, I highly recommend the Movement!

I reached out to The Movement team because I kept injuring myself while trying to train for a marathon. Before that, I had never run more than 10 km in my life, and I had signed up for a marathon in 5 months. Dalton helped me get there. He built a plan that actually made sense and helped me understand training blocks, pacing, nutrition, and how to train without overdoing it. I followed the plan, and within those 5 months I was able to run a sub 2 hour half marathon and a sub 4 hour marathon. I also ran into a bunch of different injuries along the way, and every time Dalton took the time to understand what was going on and adjusted my exercises around it. I’ll definitely be coming back for future training blocks and marathons. Highly recommend Dalton and The Movement team.

Coming to The Movement was my first experience with physiotherapy, and it’s been a great one. A pesky golf injury initially got me in the door, but working with Will has been great. He’s not just helped me work through the issue, but supported me in becoming someone who is consistent with strength training, both to resolve the injury and prevent future issues (and maybe even help my golf game… I won’t hold him responsible for that). The approach was flexible and practical. My bigger goal was figuring out how to start a strength training journey that would not end in an abandoned gym membership. The small group strength training classes with Eli over the past 6 months have been a huge part of that. Eli is excellent, encouraging, knowledgeable, and creates a positive, motivating, and comfortable environment. I’m honestly surprised by how much strength, skill, and confidence I’ve gained. Overall, such a positive experience. Highly recommend.

I initially contacted The Movement in 2023 when I needed to rehab a broken ankle and was also experiencing pain in both knees. The experience was great, and unlike any other physio clinic I had been to before. Through hour-long sessions in the gym that focused on strength training, I saw steady progress while working with Will. He was professional, warm, supportive and funny, and he taught me so much about rehab, load management and how to handle nerve pain. When my treatment plan ended, and I wanted to focus on pelvic floor issues, (and build on the foundation I had built with Will), I began working with Jess on an ongoing basis. Jess is awesome! Hilarious, down-to-earth and so knowledgeable, too. I really appreciated, in particular, her empathy and ability to adapt my workouts to deal with my hypermobility, personal goals and any temporary challenges that inevitably came up. I'd highly recommend The Movement to anyone, not just those rehabbing an acute injury. If you are committed to feeling good and staying mobile no matter what life throws at you, this is the place to go. And everyone I've ever spoken with is so helpful and kind -- hi to you, too, Lauren and Dalton! :)

Just finished working with Don for the second time in the last 4 years and wanted to show some love. I was recommended The Movement as a reliable physiotherapist for rock climbers dealing with finger injuries back in 2021, and both times I've had to deal with set backs from finger issues I've gone to Don and had a great experience. Back in 2021 he helped me deal with some tenosynovitis issues stemming from too much volume, and helped get me back on track relatively quickly. This time I saw him for an A2 pulley injury, and we've been working together for 5 months now. He was incredibly honest with me as to what to expect for a recovery timeline, how my climbing season was over and not to mourn it, but to seize the opportunity of getting stronger over this extended off season. Although I'm not 100% recovered yet in my affected finger, I have seen substantial improvement in my overall finger strength and can confirm I'm stronger than I was pre-injury. I've learned a considerable amount about ways to train, have become more mindful on how I use and engage my fingers while climbing, and have a more robust and well rounded tool kit of exercises I can use in the future to ensure I'm properly warmed up and ready for future projects. All in all, its been a 12/10 experience. I've been recommending Don for years now to anyone and everyone in the climbing community for their issues, and will continue to do so because of how well my experiences with Don and The Movement have been.
