About Navneet
Navneet is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and holds a Master of Counselling Degree (MC) from Gonzaga University. She believes in providing a non-judgmental space, being empathetic, and meeting the client where they are at. She knows counselling can be intimidating and is there to help create a safe environment while exploring any issues. As a counsellor, she has past experience working with individuals who have dealt with eating disorders and body image struggles, and she is passionate about helping those in the community.
Navneet takes on a humanistic approach and enjoys integrating different modalities as needed, which include cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions (MBIs), and emotion-focused therapy (EFT). She can also effectively communicate in both English and Punjabi. People are unique, and Navneet believes in catering her counselling skills to the individual through continuous learning and commitment. Since each person has their own journey, she believes in collaborating with her clients to assist them on their self-fulfilling path and supporting them with compassion and authenticity.
