About Morgan
Morgan Shears completed a bachelor's degree in nutrition and dietetics at the University of Acadia. While completing her studies she obtained great mentorship from various registered dietitians, some who worked in the NHL and some who focused on clinical nutrition to expand and strengthen her overall nutrition knowledge. She was the president of the nutrition and dietetics society on her campus which gave her a platform to utilize and share her nutrition and leadership skills. Once she graduated she moved to Miami to further her sports nutrition experience by completing a sports nutrition internship with the football team at the University of Miami. This experience has provided first-hand sports nutrition experience in a accelerated environment. She also obtained clinical nutrition experience from a previous job as a dietary aid in a long-term care facility. In addition to her bachelor's degree she has a certificate in eating disorder care from the Change Creates Change program. She is eager to share her passion for sports and nutrition and help grow the sports nutrition culture in Newfoundland
