With a background in research and psychoeducational assessment, Merna approaches each client’s story with clinical curiosity, compassion, and deep respect for their lived experience. Merna implements play therapy for children ages 5-10, using developmentally appropriate approaches such as play, art, storytelling, and creative expression to help children process emotions, build resilience, and strengthen coping skills. She also works with teens and adults through gentle, reflective, and collaborative talk therapy. Her therapeutic work integrates Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Trauma-Informed Care, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Attachment-Based Therapy.
