I’m Dr. Melanie Reidl, ND - a Hormone-Focused Naturopathic Doctor located in Waterloo, Ontario. I help women take control of their health and support them in their transformation from hormonal chaos to fertile & flourishing. In fact, it was through my own challenges with hormones & fertility that led me to create a hormone-focused practice. Around 18 months postpartum, I experienced intense anxiety, burnout, depression, menstrual cycle irregularities, and a significant change in weight. It was a transformative, healing journey over the course of a year, but my commitment to reclaiming my health allowed me to conceive my second child and feel balanced again physically & mentally. It has become my life’s purpose to help women feel empowered over their hormones & reproductive health. My 10+ years’ experience as an ND with a holistic approach to health, combined with healing my own hormone-related concerns as a female, allows me to understand my patients on a deeper level. “I’d like to share my sincere appreciation for the wonderful doctors and therapists at this clinic. From the very first visit, I was impressed by their professionalism, kindness, and genuine care for patients. I was referred here while searching for a naturopath and booked an appointment with Dr. Melanie Reidl. The treatment she prescribed resolved my health concerns, and both my mother and I later consulted with her on two more occasions—with equally positive results. Even though Dr. Reidl has a long waiting list, she kindly made time for me when my situation was urgent, arranging an earlier online appointment. That meant a lot to me. Because I’m disabled, I rely on weekly massage therapy to manage muscle spasticity and chronic back pain. After my great experience with Dr. Reidl, I decided to see Anna Totzke, a certified acupuncturist. I had tried acupuncture before without much success, but Anna’s approach was different—and very effective. At my request, she combined acupuncture with massage, which worked perfectly for me. I also visited Maggie Seegmiller for massage therapy. Maggie has an incredible intuition for what your body needs. She always checked in about pressure and focus areas, but I often felt she already knew better than I did. Her treatments consistently brought relief, and I was grateful for her skill and care. Both Anna and Maggie are not only talented professionals but also warm, intelligent, and full of good humor. I enjoyed every visit with them.
