About Matias
Driven by the hope for a better future, Matias immigrated to Canada with his mother at 12 years old. Arriving without knowing English, he faced the overwhelming challenge of adapting to a new language and culture. Through that transition, he discovered an anchor in health and fitness. What began as a personal outlet quickly grew into a lifelong passion for physical wellness, guiding him toward higher education and ultimately his true calling in healthcare as a massage therapist.
Since becoming a Registered Massage Therapist in 2018, Matias has dedicated his practice to providing intentional, individual-centered care. He views treatment not just as a set of techniques, but as a collaborative partnership between therapist and patient. In his practice, Matias thoughtfully blends a wide range of modalities including sports massage, joint mobilization, myofascial release, passive stretching, and practical exercises to create clear, actionable paths toward recovery and long-term well-being.
Over the years, Matias has developed a strong connection to athletic performance and rehabilitation. He has had the privilege of working with high-performance athletes across various disciplines, including professional boxers and rugby players, helping them navigate the heavy physical demands of competition and recovery.
Yet, regardless of who is on his table, Matias’s fundamental philosophy remains the same: every single patient matters. He believes that healing requires more than technical skill—it takes empathy, active listening, and genuine respect for each person’s journey. Whether he is working alongside elite athletes striving for peak performance or supporting everyday individuals managing chronic pain and stress, Matias approaches every treatment with warmth, dedication, and a commitment to helping people feel their best.
Matias is currently in the process of being approved with several insurance providers, active now with Telus and Sunlife.
