“After dealing with dismissive doctors who barely looked at my ankle, finding Mahboobeh at Back in Action was a complete game-changer. She actually listened to everything I said, answered every single question thoroughly, and explained exactly what was happening with my injury. Her positive energy made the whole experience so much less stressful. If you've been let down by the medical system and need someone who truly cares and takes an individualized approach - she's the one. Honestly the best practitioner I've encountered. Highly recommend without any hesitation!”Read moreShow less

“Absolutely terrible experience all around. Receptionist was rude and wasn’t capable of understanding the booking process. The physiotherapist I was assigned with, there was such a language barrier between her and I that is was almost impossible to help me in anyway. I’m dealing with multiple fractures in my hip and arthritis in the same area. She expected me to do physical activity that would further cause injury to myself. Then she seemed to get angry when I declined. To top things off after my first appointment the receptionist TRIPLE books me for the next day! Then they try to charge me a ridiculous fee for missing each of those three appointments in the same day. AFTER I cancelled all three and informed them I will be trying a different clinic. Stay away from this place. Very unprofessional under experienced staff who are rude and do not respect the patient in any way shape or form.”Read moreShow less

“I have been working with Mahboobeh Khosravi to treat pain (initial reason for consultation) and restore mobility in my shoulders and neck that I did not realize I had even lost over the past few years of working from home/on a computer at a desk with poor ergonomics and surgery around my neck and jaw a year ago.
We started with consultation and have tried many therapies - massage, needling, electric stimulation, and ultrasound. Each treatment was explained to me in detail so I knew what to expect. As well exercises were prescribed to assist with stretching and restoring mobility before strengthening. I am very happy that much of the movement has been restored and my strength is coming back more quickly than I had expected. An unexpected benefit is that my posture (leaning forward, and leaning to one side) has improved as well as a result of treatment.
Location right by a skytrain station (Renfrew Station) is very convenient - a quick trip from downtown.”Read moreShow less

“Went for treatment for workplace injury. I received good chiropractic treatment from Dr. Mckinney. I then needed to fill out the WCB claim forms by the Dr and they said they do not do WCB claims. I don’t know why the chiropractor didn’t tell me this before I received the treatment because I wouldn’t have gotten the treatment there is I knew this. I had used my benefits to pay a portion for the treatment but did have to pay out of pocket. When I spoke with another office they said I could have received free treatment cause WCB would pay for it later on.”Read moreShow less
