Before joining the clinic, she worked as a Developmental Support Worker, where she was often the first point of contact for individuals and families navigating unfamiliar and sometimes overwhelming situations — coordinating appointments, managing documentation, and communicating with care teams while keeping people feeling calm, informed, and supported. That experience shapes how she works here. Mary understands that many of our patients are reaching out about something they've never spoken to anyone about before, and she's committed to making that first phone call, message, or visit feel welcoming rather than clinical. She's organized, detail-oriented, and easy to talk to — exactly what you want on the other end of the line when you're taking a step that isn't always easy to take. Mary studied Educational Assistant & Adult Supports at Niagara College, with coursework in professional communication, confidentiality, and person-centred care — training that carries directly into how she supports our patients every day.
