How did you get into Health & Wellness:
I’ve always loved health and science and had a caring nature
that led me to become a massage therapist. I have a
background in athletics and rehabilitative treatment and saw
the benefit of manual therapy to bring people the best care for
their injuries, stress relief, and overall well being. I’m grateful I
get to build relationships with my clients and help them in their
wellness that is individual to them.
What Does Wellness Mean to Mariya:
Wellness means being able to enjoy and live a life that is pain
free, peaceful, and fulfilling. It is taking the time to see what
our body and minds need and allowing yourself to rest. Every
one’s wellness journey may look different, and it’s truly taking
the time to stretch your muscles, feed your body good
nourishing foods, and allow your body to heal and thrive.
What to Expect in a Session/Treatment:
Every client can expect an individual and tailored approach to
their healthcare. I focus on communication and building trust to
make sure every clients’ needs are identified and focused on.
No two bodies are the same and no two treatments are the
same. I ensure each client is included in the therapeutic
process and treatment to get the desired outcomes. I have
extensive knowledge in treating a wide variety of conditions
including chronic pain, headaches and migraines, sciatica, low back and hip pain, neck pain, TMJ dysfunction, sports related
injuries, along with stress reduction. There is great benefit
coming in for a relaxation treatment to give you a sense of
tranquility, and a deep tissue treatment to revitalize your sore
and achy muscles. Every treatment will leave you feeling relief
and the knowledge on how to maintain your wellness.
How You Will Feel After a Session/ Treatment:
You will leave feeling deeply relaxed, revitalized
and with less overall tension in your body. You
will gain a better understanding of how to
maintain your wellness and prevent injury.
