About Mariam
Mariam is a Master of Divinity (Clinical Counselling) candidate and psychotherapy practicum student with a compassionate, relational, and holistic approach to counselling. She has a particular interest in supporting women and survivors of domestic violence, as well as adolescents and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Her developing approach is trauma-informed and person-centred, integrating CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), DBT-informed strategies, mindfulness, attachment-based perspectives, and principles of Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). Mariam also offers Christian faith-based counselling for clients who wish to integrate faith and spirituality into their therapeutic journey.
