About Mackenzie

Mackenzie is a registered physiotherapist who is a graduate of the Master of Physical Therapy program from the University of Western Ontario. During his placements he received an exposure to a variety of different conditions including concussions. Since graduating, he has also completed continuing education courses in exercise prescription, acupuncture/dry needling, functional range conditioning, and manual therapy. Mackenzie works to empower his patients by taking an evidence-based patient-centered approach to rehabilitation. This involves a combination of manual therapy techniques, acupuncture/dry needling, therapeutic exercise, and providing recommendations regarding activity modification. He plans to continue his professional development by obtaining further training in manual therapy, acupuncture/dry needling, myofascial release, and concussion/vestibular rehabilitation. Mackenzie has a special interest in shoulder pain, knee pain, low back pain, and concussion rehab. For Mackenzie, the best quality physical therapy treatment involves tailoring each treatment plan to suit the goals and unique factors for each person. He has a large amount of experience working with patients of all different levels of activity and age. He works to return those he treats to the activities they are currently prevented from doing by the symptoms they are experiencing. When not at the clinic, Mackenzie’s personal interests include weightlifting and playing guitar/bass. ###Qualifications * Registered Physiotherapist * Level II Advanced Orthopaedic Manual & Manipulative Therapist * Certified Acupuncture and Dry Needling Practitioner * Functional range conditioning specialist (FRCms) ###Services Offered * Physiotherapy * Manual Therapy * Shockwave Therapy * Medical Acupuncture/Dry Needling * Concussion Rehabilitation

I think this is one of the best physio visit I've ever had. I felt heard, and my concerns are thoroughly addressed. I felt the physio did improve my symptoms and I'm looking forward to more session in the future.
