About Lesley

#ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS Lesley is a Registered Psychologist who holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Alberta, specializing in Psychology, and a Master of Science in Clinical and Counselling Psychology from Capella University. As a former healthcare professional, Lesley brings firsthand understanding of the emotional weight, moral distress, and exhaustion that often accompany caregiving roles. Her personal experience with compassion fatigue and burnout while working in an acute care hospital led her to pursue advanced training in psychology. She is especially passionate about supporting individuals in emotionally demanding professions — helping them care for themselves while continuing to engage in meaningful work. Her mission is to help clients reconnect with themselves, regulate and restore balance within their nervous systems, and develop sustainable ways to continue doing the work they value. Lesley’s approach is compassionate, collaborative, and non-judgmental. She practices from a holistic and integrative framework, drawing on cognitive and behavioural strategies, body-centred (somatic) approaches, and emotion-focused therapies. She works alongside clients to explore how past and present experiences shape emotional and physical well-being, while building practical tools that foster healing, resilience, and lasting change.
