Born and raised in Vancouver, BC, Lauren completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology (BKIN) and Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) at the University of British Columbia. She has also obtained her Canadian Orthopaedic Division Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) Level 1 Certification.
Lauren has extensive experience working with a wide range of populations, including athletes, older adults, return-to-work clients, post-surgical patients, and individuals recovering from motor vehicle accidents. She is also highly experienced in teaching Clinical Pilates, using it as an effective tool to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. With a strong background in dance, Lauren has a special interest in treating dance and performing arts–related injuries.
Lauren takes a holistic, patient-centred approach to care, combining movement, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and education in her treatment plans. She is dedicated to developing individualized strategies that align with each patient’s unique goals, and places a strong emphasis on education to ensure patients are informed, empowered, and actively engaged in their recovery.
