About Laura

Laura Ruberto is a Physiotherapist who graduated in 2022 from Ontario Tech University with a Bachelor of Health Science, specializing in Kinesiology. In 2024, Laura graduated from Queen's University with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. She is passionate about physiotherapy and creating individualized treatment plans that take a holistic approach to help patients achieve their goals. Laura has gained extensive experience in musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory, and neurological conditions. She has worked in private practice, treating a wide range of acute and chronic musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions including sports injuries, as well as in hospital settings, where she assisted patients in the acute phase of rehabilitation following post-surgical knee, hip, and shoulder replacements, as well as thoracic surgeries. Laura has also worked with post-stroke patients, guiding them through their rehabilitation process and helping them achieve their functional goals. Laura believes that continuous learning is essential to providing excellent patient care, and she stays up to date with the latest research to ensure evidence-based assessments and treatments. Outside of the clinic, Laura enjoys hiking, Pilates, yoga, and spending time outdoors with her family. Her favorite hike was the Koko Crater Trail in Oahu, Hawaii!
