About Lara

Born and raised in small town B.C., Lara completed a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of British Columbia and a Diploma of Massage Therapy at the Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic in Toronto. After working in Toronto, she practiced in the United Kingdom for six years before returning to Canada to settle in Regina. To help each client with specific issues, Lara employs a number of techniques such as trigger point therapy, myofascial release, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation(PNF), Swedish massage and lymphatic drainage. She has completed the Dr. Vodder School International training program and is a Manual Lymphatic Therapist and a Combined Decongestive Therapist. She is a member of the Lymphology Association of North America. Lara is in good standing with the Massage Therapist Association of Saskatchewan.

“I absolutely love this clinic and the practitioners within! I see Brian Godwin (chiropractor) and I appreciate his holistic vision of how to help his patients. I have been to too many chiropractors who simply crack my back and send me on my way (5-8 minutes appointments). Dr. Godwin listens to his patients and does treatment that will lead to long-term decreased pain. He provides exercises (similar to a physio) to create sustainable habits that will lead to a pain-free experience. I do not have enough good things to say about him. While my pain is not completely gone, his treatments have helped decrease it significantly. *Please note that Godwin has left this clinic, and I will be following him! Lara (massage therapist) is also a genius. Too often, I have received massages that were painful and did not provide any relief to my pain. I honestly can't even explain what Lara does because I don't understand it. However, my skin sensitivity and inflammation has improved significantly since I started massage therapy (while simultaneously getting care with Godwin). A++++ Finally, the front staff at Airport Health Professionals have been nothing short of fantastic! They are so efficient and kind every time I walk in the door. I appreciate the work they do every day.”
