About Kyle

Kyle came into massage therapy after years of physically demanding work—as a lineman, tree planter, and in the service industry—which gave him a lasting respect for the body’s limits and a deep interest in recovery and rehabilitation. Before earning his Massage Therapy diploma in Ontario, Kyle also completed a degree in music production. He & his wife have since relocated to Nova Scotia, where he continues to pursue a rhythmical passion for resonate healing & holistic wellness. As a Registered Massage Therapist, Kyle has a grounded, thoughtful & courteous approach to care. Since 2017, Kyle has been actively practicing & teaching at the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy here in Halifax, NS. As a lead instructor for the past 8 years, he supports students in both academic coursework and hands-on clinical training, bringing the same calm, patient energy to the classroom that he offers in treatments. As an educator, Kyle is an expert in the field of massage therapy. He understands clinical injuries and body-based pain patterns on a deep level & has a broad perspective on the nature of pain & healing that is deeply rooted in an evidence informed approach. His treatment style is always personalized, and results focused. He utilizes a variety of therapeutic, deep tissue techniques including myofascial, myotonic & sports related modalities. He aims to target the areas that need attention while helping clients move toward their wellness or rehabilitation goals. Whether you're managing chronic pain, recovering from injury, or simply needing to unwind, Kyle brings a practical and down-to-earth touch to each treatment. Outside the clinic, Kyle keeps busy by staying active through swimming and expressing his creative side through guitar and visual arts. His easygoing nature and thoughtful presence make him a trusted therapist for anyone looking to reconnect with their body and feel better in it.

Booked a 75-minute massage after a very long flight and was extremely disappointed. The massage was lukewarm and the therapist’s technique felt unskilled. The pressure and strokes were inconsistent and appeared novice-level, raising concerns about proper training. I paid $158 for 75 minutes and felt that both my time and money were wasted. The ambience was also very poor. The lighting in the room was too bright, and there was constant noise from the reception area, people walking in the hallway, and even toilets flushing, which made it difficult to relax. The therapist, Kyle, did not once ask about pressure preference, which is basic professional practice. Overall, I felt unwelcome and the quality of service was well below expectations. I will not be returning. Reply on Jan 25 based on comments from Owner - Thank you for the clarification. My feedback was not about spa ambience but about clinical practice. During my session there was no intake, no pressure check-in, and no opportunity to provide feedback, which are standard elements of therapeutic massage regardless of setting. My concern remains the quality of care relative to the cost.
