About Kristin

Whatever it is that brought you to this website, I’m here to help. Whether you are seeking healing, emotional relief, personal growth, problem solving, deeper understanding, or something else, I will take the time to understand your situation and work with you to create the best approach for your well-being. I’ve been supporting children, youth, and adults with diverse backgrounds and life experiences for more than 30 years. My own life story and experiences growing up in a multi-racial and diverse family helps me create a safe and accepting space where we can focus on you and your goals. I’ve helped clients reach their therapy goals using various types of therapy, including, narrative, acceptance and commitment, cognitive-behavioural, person-centered, emotionally-focused, and others. However we decide to work together, my approach emphasizes gentleness and self-compassion. We will build your personal insight by noticing how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours contribute to your overall mental health. I’m looking forward to meeting you! In addition to my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (Yorkville University), I also have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Exceptionality in Human Learning from the University of Toronto.
