About Kelbrai
Kelbrai (she/her) is a graduate student in the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) program and is currently completing her practicum with OK Clinical Therapy Group in Vernon. Kelbrai values creating a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. She believes your story, experiences, and values are the foundation of the work you do together, and she views therapy as a collaborative process that honours your unique strengths, needs, and goals.
Kelbrai utilizes an eclectic approach that is thoughtfully tailored to each individual, drawing from evidence-based practices and theoretical frameworks to best support her client’s needs. She is also interested in understanding how her client's lived experiences shape the way they relate to themselves and others. Kelbrai is committed to providing culturally responsive, socially just, and inclusive care where all clients feel respected, valued, and welcomed in the therapeutic space. Before beginning her practicum, Kelbrai gained experience supporting clients living with eating disorders alongside their recovery journey. This previous experience continues to shape her work as a therapist to include empathy, curiosity, and deep respect for each client’s healing journey.
