About Kate
Kate is a talented Massage Therapist. Kate's enthusiam for helping her patients achieve their optimal function through therapuetic massage is obvious while treating a variety of everyday and athletic injuries. To do so, Kate utilizes a variety of treatment techniques including myofacial release, lymph drainage, trigger point work, stretching and strengthening exercises, postural education, joint mobilizations, and therapeutic modalites as indicated. Kate achieved her academic credentials from a respected program at Durham College, where she earned her Diploma in Massage Therapy. Kate has gained vast clinical experience in different settings, where she has had the privalege of working with a varied caseload dealing with acute and chronic injuries, including varsity athletes, elderly, office workers, and cancer patients. Kate's time outside of the clinic is enjoyed with friends and family. She always looks forward to camping, fishing, scrapbooking, and painting. Kate remains active by playing hockey, kayaking, and walking her dogs.
