About Julia
Julia earned her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from McGill University, followed by a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto. With over eight years of private practice experience, Julia has worked across Ontario, British Columbia, and internationally in New Zealand, where she served as an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist managing a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal and post-surgical cases. Her expertise includes working extensively with athletes from various sports—hockey, rugby, basketball, and lacrosse—while also supporting individuals of all ages and activity levels, from competitive athletes to those initiating or resuming physical activity. Julia’s treatment philosophy integrates evidence-based practice, manual therapy, dry needling, tailored exercise programs, and patient education. After sustaining an ACL injury in 2024, she gained valuable personal insight into the rehabilitation process, deepening her empathy and strengthening her ability to connect with patients through both her clinical skills and firsthand experience. She has completed advanced coursework in orthopedic manual therapy (AIM Levels I–III), concussion management (Complete Concussion Management and Shannon McGuire Level 1), Clinical Mat Pilates, and Integrated Dry Needling. Beyond her clinical work, Julia embraces the West Coast lifestyle—engaging in skiing, hiking, camping, volleyball, and exploring Vancouver by bike.
