Jasbir’s areas of specialization include depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD, stress and burnout, interpersonal and relationship difficulties, life and career transitions, and cultural and intergenerational challenges. She is deeply committed to supporting individuals from all walks of life, and has a particular interest in working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. As a multilingual psychologist fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi, she strives to provide a culturally sensitive and inclusive therapeutic experience. In your session, Jasbir will tailor her approach to meet your unique needs and goals. She draws from various evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and solution-focused therapy, to empower you with practical tools and insight. Additionally, she is trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), a powerful technique to help you process and heal from trauma. Jasbir is a Registered Psychologist with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from MacEwan University and a Master of Counselling Psychology Degree from City University of Seattle. As a member in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) and the Psychologists Association of Alberta (PAA), she will uphold the highest professional standards and ethics.
