About Jane
I completed my Master’s in Clinical Social Work at the University of Bedfordshire in England. I have extensive clinical training and hold the Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE), which demonstrates my competence in a range of evidence‑based treatment modalities, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution‑Focused Therapy.
I am an experienced clinician with over ten years of clinical social work practice, supporting both adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds who present with a wide range of mental health concerns, including complex and multi‑layered challenges. My professional experience spans several settings, including in‑patient forensic hospitals and community mental health teams, and I have worked in various capacities such as forensic social worker, addictions counsellor, and mental health therapist.
Some of my areas of special interest include working with clients seeking faith‑based therapy, clients from ethnic minority backgrounds, couples therapy, and addictions counselling.
