About Ingrid
Ingrid is a South African trained musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. She studied at the University of the Witwatersrand, which at the time, had one of the best Anatomy departments in the world.
Shortly after graduating, she completed a post-graduate course in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy. This set her on a path of learning and exploration to gain expertise in the treatment and rehabilitation of spinal, hip and shoulder injuries.
In the past she has enjoyed a close working relationship with various Orthopaedic surgeons, and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience gained through her involvement in the treatment and rehabilitation of sports and musculoskeletal injuries over the past 20 years.
It is of utmost importance to her to provide patients with the highest quality of care available for their specific needs. Prioritizing a thorough assessment, quality hands on treatment and individualized rehab programs.
As someone who loves sport and being active, she has completed several ultra marathons, open water swims, and varied team sports.
She spends her weekends with her husband and two sons exploring the magnificent mountain trails and beaches of Vancouver Island, and looks forward to trying some new sporting activities unique to the island.
