About Iain
Iain earned his Undergraduate Degree in Human Kinestcs at the University of Guelph, followed by a Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Western Ontario. During this time, he worked as a competitive swim coach focusing on biomechanical analysis. Iain has private practice experience both in Ontario and BC, where he has worked with advanced neurological injuries, post operative rehabilitation, and rehabilitation of various sports such as swimmers, weightlifters, volleyball players, runners, cyclists and hockey players. Iain is passionate about treating Vertigo/Vestibular and Concussion injuries and has years of experience treating complex neurological injuries such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, and fatigue/chronic pain syndromes. Iain holds post-graduate training for Advanced Vestibular Management, Concussion Management, IMS/Dry Needling and Bobath Neurological training. Iain’s treatment uses evidence-based practice and focuses on a combination of education, biomechanical analysis, exercise training, manual therapy techniques, and IMS/Dry Needling. He incorporates individually tailored home exercise programs into his patient’s lives to help them achieve their goals. Aside from Physiotherapy, Iain enjoys playing beach volleyball, cycling, hiking, and surfing.
