About Herman
Born and raised in Vancouver, Dr. Herman Cheng graduated from Cardiff University School of Optometry in 2010; he practiced in the United Kingdom for 5 years before transitioning back to North America. Dr. Cheng went on to further his studies at the New England College of Optometry in the United States where he obtained his Doctorate in Optometry. His clinical practice in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada has given him extensive experience in all aspects of patient care with an emphasis in contact lenses, ocular disease and refractive surgery. In his spare time, when he is not spending time with relatives and friends over a good board game, you will find him cheering on his favourite sports teams! Dr. Cheng is a member in good standing of the British Columbia Association of Optometrists and the Canadian Association of Optometrists. Dr Cheng speaks fluent Cantonese and English.
