About Will
Personal History and Educational Background -
Growing up in North Vancouver, Dr. Will Stephen participated in countless sports and always
had a passion for physical activity. He pursued this passion at Capilano University where he
completed the Human Kinetics diploma. It was here where Will’s interest in human anatomy,
movement, and education grew and where his interest in chiropractic began. Following his time
at Capilano University, he continued his education at the University of British Columbia where
he obtained the Bachelor of Kinesiology degree and cemented his desire to become a
chiropractor. He would then travel to Portland, Oregon to attend the University of Western
States, where he would receive the Bachelor of Sciences degree for Human Biology and later
complete the Doctor of Chiropractic program.
Philosophy -
From his first time as a chiropractic patient in 2017 to the countless individuals he has treated in
the outpatient clinic in Portland, Will has seen, first hand, the power of chiropractic. From acute
flare ups to chronic conditions, he has witnessed how beneficial the chiropractic adjustment is, as
well as soft tissue massage and patient education. Will’s focus is on delivering evidence based,
whole person care to keep people living their best lives free of pain. Additionally, Will believes
that chiropractic can and should be utilized as preventative care, so you can stay happy and
healthy.
Additional Information -
Dr. Will Stephen did his chiropractic based internship with Dr. Terry Dickson for 6 months in
2025. Although his preceptorship began with strictly observing Dr. Dickson, patients soon
became comfortable with Dr. Stephen & had him take their history, perform physical
examinations and, in numerous cases, provide adjustments & rehabilitation exercises. Dr.
Stephen has built his reputation at North Shore Wellness and Dr. Dickson has relayed full
confidence in having Dr. Stephen treat his patients when he's unavailable.
