About Shannon
Dr. Shannon Dales’ passion for chiropractic care began in childhood, when she received care from her uncle. Her interest in the benefits of chiropractic continued to grow through her teenage years, particularly as she experienced and recovered from sports injuries. After studying Genetics and Microbiology at the University of Toronto, pursuing a career in chiropractic was a natural next step, leading her to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
For more than 25 years, Dr. Dales operated her own multidisciplinary clinic in Toronto’s Financial District before joining Integra Health Centre in 2024. She continues to learn and refine her manual care techniques while staying current with the evolving evidence in healthcare.
Dr. Dales believes that lifelong mobility and overall health are intrinsically connected. Her approach combines chiropractic care, acupuncture, and exercise to help patients move better, feel better, and maintain an active lifestyle.
An accomplished athlete herself, Shannon is a five-time member of the Canadian National Dragon Boat Team and has earned more than 25 gold medals at international championships. Her experience as a competitive paddler has given her a unique understanding of how strength, power, mobility, and stability work together to optimize performance.
Outside the clinic, Shannon balances life as a mother, fitness enthusiast, and dedicated member of a competitive paddling crew. When she’s not in the office, there’s a good chance you’ll find her in the gym or on the water!
