Dr. Mikaila Patrick is originally from Oakville, Ontario where her background in competitive sports sparked a strong interest in the human body.
Dr. Mikaila earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, with distinction from Dalhousie University, where her interest in movement, rehab and patient care grew.
After graduation, she was the Kinesiologist at Maritime Chiropractic & Wellness, where witnessing the impact of chiropractic care firsthand inspired her to take the next step. She went on to complete her Doctor of Chiropractic degree, graduating Cum Laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
Dr. Mikaila uses a variety of treatment techniques including education, soft tissue therapy, mobilizations, manipulations, ergonomic assessments and individualized exercise programming. She is passionate about both treating musculoskeletal injuries while also preventing their recurrence.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Mikaila enjoys playing and watching sports, cooking, spending time with friends and family and exploring the beautiful province of Nova Scotia.
