About Marie

Dr. Marie is a Naturopathic doctor and co-founder of BioHeal Ottawa which opened in April, 2019. She graduated from the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in 2005 and for the past decade was the senior ND at a local wellness clinic. Opening the BioHeal Ottawa clinic is a professional dream come true. Grounded in general practice skills, Dr. Marie thinks of herself as somewhat of a health detective for chronic illnesses, specifically when it comes to figuring out the underlying causes of chronic illness. Within this field, she is particularly well known for her expertise in treating Lyme Disease. Her willingness to freely share clinical pearls of wisdom among colleagues has led to her being a sought-after speaker at conferences. This, along with her professional reputation, lead to her being asked to be a recent author of a chapter within the Connie Strasheim’s ground-breaking book, New Paradigms in Lyme Disease. It’s hard to improve on the Naturopathic refrain, “fix the terrain”, but this is the mission at the heart of Dr. Marie’s practice. She meets all her patients with the heartiest smile and an open mind.
