Welcome! 🚨 New to BioHeal Ottawa? Please call or email us to book your Initial Visit so we can get you started on your health journey.
INITIAL VISITS: For Naturopathic bookings, please note that re-scheduling should be made at least 7 days in advance . You can either call the office or email. If you provide less than 7 days notice, and you wish to re-book, you will be required to pay the FULL cost of the initial visit fee upon re-booking. If you decide to CANCEL altogether, the non-refundable deposit made at the time of booking becomes the cancellation/booking fee.
FOLLOW-UP VISITS: Cancellations/Re-schedules must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance (by Friday for Monday bookings) via phone or email. Less than 24 hours’ notice will result in the FULL visit FEE. If you’re feeling unwell, we’re happy to switch to a virtual visit at no extra cost. Thank you for your understanding.
Please note that a minimum of 48 HOURS NOTICE is required for any bookings or changes involving the Nurse Practitioner.

“It's sad that people like Dr. Marie Matheson take advantage of those struggling with complex health issues. Our work began with her recommending a $500 Joe Dispenza program, which she claimed was essential for any progress. From there, she kept promoting costly add-ons—supplements, drops, and in-clinic treatments—each pitched as a groundbreaking “game-changer.” I’ll give her credit: when it comes to selling snake oil, she’s in a league of her own. P.S.: Since leaving this clinic, I have seen Dr. Mark Kirchhof, Head of Dermatology at the Ottawa Hospital. In just 1 month of medical treatment, 80% of my symptoms have improved. I am now able to eat almost anything and feel significantly better. This successful outcome elsewhere confirms my original concerns about the "treatments" I was receiving from Dr. Matheson P.P.S.: Dr. Marie Matheson’s response to my honest initial review was to try and 'blacklist' me from other local specialists. I have written proof from Jamie Batsch confirming that Dr. Matheson prohibited her from treating me at both Bioheal and Wild Medicine. It’s a sad state of affairs when a ND is so insecure about her methods that she spends time sabotaging a patient’s access to care. Don't expect the College of Naturopaths of Ontario to help. “I have been a patient of BioHeal Ottawa for years and a patient of Dr Marie since I was 8. The best care and treatment I have experienced in a doctors office, Dr Marie really listens to my symptoms and concerns to provide a comprehensive treatment plan to follow through with. My chronic lyme and co-infections are not something I need to justify or defend at this office, and that is truly such a relief when looking for medical treatments.
