About Alexandra
Dr. Alexandra Weinhardt, Optometrist × Alexandra Weinhardt (formerly Kamphuis) is from the Niagara region in Ontario, and recently moved to Vancouver. She studied optometry at the University of Waterloo School of Optometry & Vision Science and graduated with Dean’s Honours. She then completed the Dr. Gina Sorbara Cornea and Contact Lens Residency at the University of Waterloo, an intensive year of training in fitting specialty contact lenses, myopia management, and corneal disease. She has also earned her Fellowship of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Weinhardt is passionate about providing eye care that’s personalized, thorough, and guided by the latest research and innovation. She enjoys all areas of optometry and can manage your dry eyes, ocular disease, and, of course, corneal disease and myopia. In her free time, Dr. Weinhardt loves being outside: backpacking, rock climbing, snowboarding, and enjoying the beautiful Vancouver views!
