Clare discovered the benefits of massage firsthand while working and traveling in Asia, inspiring her to complete the 3000-hour program at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Vancouver. Since starting work in 2003, she has developed a focused, restorative approach that blends
- scar tissue therapy,
- myofacial therapy,
- trigger point release,
- craniosacral techniques
- Swedish massage.
She has a special interest and has taken further training in mastectomy and breast and chest post surgery massage.
Her treatments use a moderate to lighter touch, emphasizing precision, balance, and nervous system regulation. Clare often includes exercises or stretches to extend the benefits of her sessions.
Influenced by her background in Yoga, Pilates, and nutrition, Clare brings a holistic perspective to her work. She has a special interest in supporting women through menopause and promoting long-term ease and mobility. Outside the clinic, Clare enjoys progressive weight training, healthy cooking, and photography—especially when it involves great food.
